FAQ

We welcome well-behaved pets and their humans. We've had dogs, cats, and even pet birds stay with us - usually with no problems!

However, please note the following requirements:

• You must disclose your pet before booking

• Your pet must be well-trained

• Please cover the furniture

• Pets must be crated if left in the cottage for a period of time

• You may not leave your pet in the cottage for extended periods of time

• As long as your pet is well-behaved, doesn't climb on the furniture (without protection), doesn't scratch the floors, is potty-trained, we'll most likely accept your pet.

• You must let us know that you want to bring your pet. Please do not arrive with a pet that has not been disclosed - thank you!

• Please bring all of your pet's accessories, including blankets to cover the furniture.

• There is an additional $10 per night charge per pet. This helps cover the cost of the extra cleaning it will take after check-out.

• Please be prepared to cover the actual costs of any damage made by your pet.

• We check the cottage after every visit to inspect it for accidental damage, whether or not there were pets. If, during your stay, damage has occurred, we expect you to let us know. We will work with you.

There is absolutely NO SMOKING anything inside or near the cottage. There is a $250 fee for smoking. Smoking cigarettes may be done away from the cottage. Cigarette butts must be disposed of offsite. Do not place them in the cottage garbage can. You'll need to supply your own ashtrays. Do not smoke on the front step. Do not smoke in the street in front of the main house. Guests have taken walks to the end of the little gravel walkway next to the cottage. Thank you very much for your understanding.
